The good news is that this isn't the only Wonder Woman game in town anymore. If this series isn't to your liking, Sensation Comics and Superman/ Wonder Woman are currently available and Wonder Woman '77 is on the way. I like them both equally well Action Ace!

I'm stunned by the interview of Meredith Fitch of her praise of Azzarello's work. I just don't know what to say here. and to add to that, she says she hasn't read any other WW.

I guess if all you're worried about is trying to keep things flowing with what Azz did then there would be no need to read anything else. It's a strange thing for someone who hasn't written comics before to say, though.
"Hey guys, I've never written comics or read the character I'm writing, other than the previous writer's run, but Wonder Woman is love and I just want to be true to that and show how this god is a human being."

I'm usually pretty open, but honestly, I'm not enthused at all, which really hacks me off as I liked the previous run and love the character.
Thank God there's Sensation.

Well, in Meredith's defense. She's said she's a fan of the 70s Wonder Woman TV show and thinks that Diana has many interesting villains. She's even said she's researched the Angle Man as she finds him quite appealing. I think that alone says she's willing to give her all to Diana as most other writers turn their noses up at the Angle Man.

As long as "giving her all" doesn't involve reading Wonder Woman, sure.
I hope you're right, but I'm with hondobrode. She's not saying anything that has me excited.
And if she's a fan of the show, why not put her on '77 instead and give the main book to someone who's more familiar with the character?

That's up to editorial.

Right, and I think editorial should "put her on '77 instead and give the main book to someone who's more familiar with the character".

That probably would have been a better choice but I'm willing to give her run a chance and see what she gives us.

Gotta say I'm an Angle-Man fan, so we'll see what she does with her.
Honestly, WW's quality has been up and down but I can't really remember not liking a creative team, even Adam Hughes cheesecake version, which I kinda liked in a way but I don't think really fits the character.
Hope I'm wrong about Meredith.

Thank God there's Sensation. That's one of my favorite books on Wonder Woman!

I guessed that from how MechaGodzilla is focusing on it.
