Watching "dead mall" videos. I was actually at this one yesterday. I go to that one a few times a year. They have a comic book shop there (which you, of all the other posters here, are probably well aware of), but 75% of the rest of the shop fronts are empty. Sad, because that used to be "THE MALL" in the area, and my friends and I would travel there to hang out, shop, etc., even though Monroeville Mall was only 10 minutes from my house growing up. As for myself, I am in the process of finalizing my 2016 home budget by recording all outstanding expenses into my handy-dandy spreadsheet, in preparation of starting the 2017 year off with a clean slate. |

When I was out of work earlier this year, I went out there a lot to look at their Magic:The Gathering cards, primarily because they just dumped their non-rare singles into a bunch of big boxes at the front of the store without giving any consideration to what the cards actually are. I managed to find a bunch of $4+ uncommon and common cards that are used in older format decks, and they charged $.05 apiece if I bought at least 50 cards. Nothing like grabbing $20 worth of cards to resell on eBay, plus a bunch of other cards that I wanted to use to build decks with, for $2.50. Now, I work right down the hill from the Pittsburgh Mills location, so I usually run up there one afternoon per week just to poke around after work. The backroom with all of the $1 books is a particular favorite of mine. |

 Sort of hiding out and watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off with the captions on in my bedroom because my house has been taken over by loud drunks and my head is aching. My cat is under my bed. We are a lot alike. I really can't stand loud and obnoxious drunks. I'm sorry. And having a headache is just the pits. I once had a headache for 33 days straight. A rebound headache I was told it was. The only time it went away was when I was lying down. I just wanted to curl up into a ball and die. |
