Just arrived at church (5:45 AM local time) We are having three services this morning and are serving breakfast with each of them, and as I'm a certified kitchen manager, I am taking the lead on the prep and cooking of the food. We've invited the comunity we're located in as well so, we're anticipating multiple hundreds of people. How do you God three times, so early in the morning?? Oh, man, that is some strength. Merry Christmas! <3

Watching the Star Wars Holiday Special and getting ready to file a police report because someone in Miami (I live in Pittsburgh) ran up $6000 worth of charges on my card. Your card has fraud protection, yes? I just assume all credit cards do? Like, your card company did not let those charges go through, did they? Oh, man. I would be a wreck. My husband would be an even BIGGER wreck. I hope that you are able to get this straightened out, and that they are able to catch the jerk who did this to you. It's the worst feeling. Not only do you worry about the actual charges, and that someone did this, but it's very invasive, and it's the more horrible feeling.

Merry Christmas! <3 We have three services every Sunday, at 8:15, 9:15, and 10:45. The first is our "coffee house" service with light breakfast and acoustic music, the second is the traditional sanctuary service with choir, and the third is our "electric" service with full worship band.

This is unbelievable and I hope that they catch the man/woman who is doing this to you ... Man, this is insane! Your card has fraud protection, yes? I just assume all credit cards do? Like, your card company did not let those charges go through, did they? Oh, man. I would be a wreck. My husband would be an even BIGGER wreck. I called my bank and got it taken care of as soon as I found out. I won't be on the hook for the charges, I'll just have to get a new card and deal with filing the police reports. I'm just glad that it's happening while I'm off from work so I don't have to stress about anything else while this is going on.

I've had one of my cards hacked three times in the past two years, although never for this much. Once was for about $900 worth of Mustang replacement auto parts in Caliornia, while the other two times were less than $50 each time. I've never been on the hook for the charges, but it's a pain having to replace the cards and then update any automatic payments associated with that card.

Oh noooooooooo....that is how I spilt Ribena on my precious X-Men 212. Sabretooth got killed by black currant juice. Ack!!! I read while my sauce simmers. I could not manage reading and trying to actually cook at the same time. Someone would end up with some Spider-Man in their mostaccioli. lol! lol

They are the things he thinks are just perfection. And, yes, he has had me watch every single one of them. But thanks to him having me watch allllll the Star Wars movies in one sitting, I could not tell you what happened in which movie, nor can I EVER remember the names of them. Except for the original 3. And that is only because I grew up on them.

On the subject of Alien movies I think the greatness of Alien 3 is the severance (at least originally intended) of the cast and crew of Aliens. To that we could of got (and still got one) more and more of Ripley & Co turning into sci-fi/horror General Hospital.
That's why the comics and novels appealed to me for opening the Alien world past Ripley, the Company and her daughter. It gave the chance for great comics like Salvation and one of the best Alien reads, the novel Music of the Spears. Crossovers like Superman vs Aliens. I congratulate Fox and Finch for taking not just the character to an end point but pushing the Aliens past the bipedal human creatures. It opened up so much more creativity. Aliens still stands the test of time. But I think it could have ruined Alien movies of it continued. Dragging out the characters until the actors themselves can't play the parts. That's obviously hindsight for me and an obvious lack of connection with most of Aliens cast. So don't take me too seriously. :-)

I just played "20 questions" with a new employee at a music store. I was told that I was buying the wrong type of strings for my guitar; even though I've been playing the guitar since I was 10. I blushed out of embarrassment, threw a twenty at him, grabbed my strings off the counter and walked out. Clearly, he was 'stringing' you along.

Office party tomorrow.
I'm in charge of the drinks and bar....we're taking in 6 coolers tonight, catering for 75-85. Getting that ready and then baking a cake as a bonus.
I hope they don't notice my shiner. Make up is awesome....

Especially past the part in bold. "But when Robin would visit the old foot bridge whenever she was thinking of Stone; it was always so moving. It's not stupid, is it?"Sorry I missed your response. If you mean you do not recognize the reference, it is an American soap opera that's been going on for decades that I got exposed to when I got married. My wife and mother in law had been following it for years before I met her. The comparison is because soap operas never go anywhere week after week. And the same characters (whether represented by the same actor or actress) never develop or go anywhere, and the same tired tripe gets brought up every episode. Which is what I feel like the Alien franchise would have turned into had it stayed centered on Ripley & Co rather than branch out as it has.
