9. Zodiac Just look, how could you not like a team like this. Losers schmoosers, thats some bigtime Avengers tush kickin, eyebrow-raising, peoples elbow-dropping badassness right there, and they smell what the Rock is cookin. I always loved this team. The visual of the Bull was always scary to me. |

9. The Circus of CrimeEveryone loves the circus! Unless... It's a CIRCUS OF CRIME! I have a real soft spot for their appearance in Avengers #60 -- talk about punching up out of your league -- but my favorite storyline with them is in the pages of Ghost Rider when The Clown becomes leader. Regardless of which incarnation, though, these guys and gals are always a barrel of fun. I so wanted to use them but they mostly suck in their appearances, the exception being maybe Hank and Jan’s wedding.OMG! One of My All-Time Favorites!! Big Fan of The Wasp & Yellowjacket (XD) The Circus of Crime just barely missed my list, so I'm very glad to see they're getting some love here and on other days! My favorite CoC appearance was also in Avengers #60. And I've always loved this #60 panel (below) was very impressive, in the middle of getting ready to attack there's a Gambonno brother paraphrasing Shakespeare while lighting his cigarette--great touch by Buscema and Thomas.  |
