You're way ahead of me on the Archie Spire completion-- I still have a looong way to go in the Archie issues. However, I only need a few of the more traditional Spire titles as well. Nice find!
tartanphantom, come out to play-y-y-y
Technically I do have all 19 if I include a NM Barbour press of Archie's Circus....but now I have that 'itch' to get the original Spire issue and they've all been ratty so far.
As is the case for so many Spire titles. Plus, I think a lot of the Archie books suffer from low print runs, unlike some of the more popular (at the time) mainstream Spire titles like "The Hiding Place" and "The Cross and the Switchblade". I believe those were printed in very high quantities, considering it was a small press company, on par with "Treasure Chest of Fun and Fact." I see those two all the time in pretty much all price variants.

An otherwise high grade copy of Fast Willie Jackson #1....I've been told CGC doesn't penalise slight cover miswraps and I'm not sure how many here would even consider that a dealbreaker or flaw....

In a little used book store, I picked up two marvel treasuries... in pretty shoddy condition, but intact and only $6 each! These are NOT actual photos of my copies.

Early Millie the Model Annuals....#2 and #3. There's some ancient price-sticker residue on the covers that I will try to get 'professionally' cleaned in the foreseeable future. Got these at a great price so I stfu about flaws which can be fixed and nabbed them. I have a near complete run of the Queen-Size editions, missing just #1 of course but there's always 2024...

Being friends with one of your comic shop owners has its perks. Whenever he buys a collection he shares me with what he got and find some fun things for me. Scratched 2 books off my bucket list; I know I can't get superior copies of them but they're books I've wanted Amazing Spider-Man #s 42 and 59 (first fully MJ appearance) Also, this great condition of the Fireside book of The Superhero Women! I adore this Romita cover

Nice stuff!
My LCS guy added some new books to the dollar bin, and that nicely coincided with a slow week for me, so I got a couple recent over-ordered #1s (Wolverine vs.Predator and the latest Hulk series) a few late Claremont era X-Men, and, the weirdest thing in there, Micronauts #1.
I'm excited to read that one... as I've seen you all talking about it but never actually checked it out.

I had an itch to pick up some Image books to fill holes. This arrived today to fill in some gaps in my Gen13 collection. The 3 books for 4 bucks plus shipping. Now I just need # 4 to finish the 6 issue series.

Giveaway price is 5 dollars.
Or really large discount off regular cover price....like getting a $39.95 Hardcover for $7
I think over half of mine were discounted as high as 90%
I got one of my Punisher Omnibus for $7 (Reg retail $100) but that was a rare exception to the norm, just right place, right time.

I know what you're saying, but these are technically DC books, not Image books. Jim Lee moved the WildStorm imprint to DC in 1998.
This series is from 2000, I believe. But still very Image-flavored, obviously.

The series had a smooth transition to DC and didn’t start integrating the characters until a Superman crossover later on. I always had a soft spot for the Gen13 characters.

A find it funny that Liefeld got attacked for wanting to leave Image to form his own separate imprint but Jim Lee gets a pass for taking his entire catalogue and selling it to DC.
