WORLD OF WHEELS #25, April 1969, Charlton Comics Cover by Tony Tallarico  When I found out my co-worker, Ken King, was an avid motorcyclist, I was delighted to be able to tell him that there was a comic book series in the 60's about a motorcyclist with his exact same name! Gene Colan and motorcycles. One of the reasons I connect the two is that when motorcycles are mentioned in comics, I think of this page from Captain America #131. Something about the way he portrayed Cap letting loose on the beach stayed with me.  |

kirby101, not only is that acrobatic art by Colan as good as it gets, the inner monologue by the mysterious guy in the fedora has inspired me to adopt it as my default setting for musing. Thank you. Would I might continue our discourse, but I must search the emporia of this region for the thing I seek, a fermented potable crowned with foam and heady with the scent of malt and hops.
