Very small week for me this week, one new comic and one trade collection... I am an issue behind on Star Henge. Really dug issue 1, but haven't gotten to #2 yet, and now 3 is out. #2 seems to be sold out all over the place, as retailers dropped orders after #1 expecting a speculator bubble drop, but the book seems to now have been underordered as I see folks all over social media trying to find copies because they couldn't get them from their lcs. The Usagi is a new printing of Vol. 5, which is one of the ones I missed when I was laid up by surgery a few years back, so I am glad its back in print. Vol. 6 is currently being solicited, but I need to check f I missed that one too. -M I'm definitely part of that bubble, loved the art on Starhendge but the story was just utterly incomprehensible so I dropped it.

Some of these might have been last week..
Superman: Warworld Apolcalypse : The big ending to the Warworld story. It was a bit of a whimper... though there were some cool moments. I'll be very interesting indeed what happens next with Clark coming home... clearly (if there is any continuity) the events here are either way ahead (after everyone is back from the big crossover) or way behind. I suspect the latter.
Antioch #1 : This is a continuation of Frontiersman... as a different hero takes up the cause while Frontiersman is in prison. I didn't get a great sense of the new main character, but I think this will be good as Frontiersman was.
Metal Society #5 : The conclusion did not miss the mark on this one... great ending to an excellent story. The pacing was a bit off, but I think it'll read great as a trade.. highly recommended.
Spider-Man 2099 Exodus: Omega : Alot of exposition in this one, and sadly nothing of the X-Men in action, just Spidey and Norman Osbourne with the final confrontation. IT was good, but I was hoping for more of the X-Men. It seems the main purpose of this story was to return 2099 to the status quo after trashing it in Secret Wars, so it definitely achieved that goal. As a fan of 2099, I enjoyed it.. not sure a non-hardcore 2099 fan would need to read it though.
