In Savage Sword of Conan #97, the Leopard-themed villain is defeated when Conan blinds him... using the reflection of the moon on an ordinary coin! Have you ever seen moonlight reflected on a coin? AAAAARGH! THE PAIN! THE LIGHT IS BLINDING MEEEEEEE!!! That's no moon... I got that reference!

I like how the ring assesses Hal's injury as minor. Clearly this was before the days of CTE research. Speaking of which, has anyone done a story yet about the dangers of superhero concussions? Realistically, all superheroes without powers should already be dead or in a wheelchair considering how often they get hit in the head. But the only time they have dealt with the subject in a realistic way that I can think of is when Doc Ock was dying from all the blows received in his career (remember, apart from his tentacles he was a perfectly normal human being. ). So he came up with the plan that would lead to Superior Spider-Man.

Hal Jordan slips on a bar a soap. I thought his ring protects him . It should have been yellow soap… …oh someone already made that joke lol

The real villain is the colorist.

You’d think Hal would make sure there was no yellow around in his apartment or whatever, just in case accidents like that happen!

"The damage done to him is minor"?
I'd like to see what major damage looks like.

Hal Jordan slips on a bar a soap. I thought his ring protects him . Maybe it protected him from dying from such a fall that would kill a normal man?

Speaking of which, has anyone done a story yet about the dangers of superhero concussions? OR the need for regular cancer screenings considering how many characters are exposed to radiation.
