I can't wait! This has always been my favorite thread, and is the event that really got me to join the classics community.

I can't wait! This has always been my favorite thread, and is the event that really got me to join the classics community. There is nothing more fundamental to our community, no thread nor event more centrally important, than the Classic Comics Christmas. We've been running for over six months now, but when we hit Day 12 of the Classic Comics Christmas, the CCF will finally and thoroughly be complete.

The only one I haven't participated in was the one about comic strips. The best event of the forum year.

Brought me to the classics board as well. About three months after I'd started and a week or two into the 12 weeks of 2006, Lone Ranger sent me a private message suggesting I participate. I really appreciated the invitation and have enjoyed the tradition ever since.

It occurs to me there should probably be a sticky on the comics/meanwhile boards. I would never have thought to look here if not for ICTrombone's thread.
