Batman #237 (A cover already on my mind this week, for obvious reasons.)

Star Spangled War Stories #88, 1960 What in the name of John Browning is that weapon supposed to be? Looks like the love child of a Sten, the M-3 and an actual grease gun. I hated it when war comics artists didn't at least have a good swipe file for the weapons, uniforms and equipment they are supposed to depict. If it was at least in the right ball park it didn't usually take me out of things.

Dodging bullets or just terrible shots? The Punisher #1 (mini-1985) Cover by Mike Zeck Well, considering that ol' Frank is aiming about 30-45 degrees to the right of where the incoming shots originate, I'd say there were no marksmen on the scene, at either end.

Vietnam Journal #5You have double dodging going, here. Not only are the soldiers dodging bullets, but one of the jobs of a "loach" (Light Observation Helicopter) was to act as bait, to draw enemy fire, then gunships or fixed wing aircraft would attack the enemy positions, after they revealed themselves. Lot of Purple Hearts among the pilots and crews of those helicopters.

That's French; it just happens to read like English. Just listen to this authentic French language clip.... You'll note the other French signs that happen to read like English. Simply a coincidence of language!

Amazing Spider-Man 318 Always loved Mcfarlane as a Spider-Man cover artist. His inside work was ok but nothing popped like the covers.
