I'm reading issue number one. I really didn't have time to look in to what the dealio was going to be with this (Work is a major time suck lately). It's essentially an Elseworlds without the branding. So that's a huge plus. Superman is much more readable if he's bent even a little bit. And it gives Russell a chance to world build. I just called my Pastor and asked him if Hell froze over... Climate change impacts Hell as well... -M

I loved the art and the idea of Superman through time is interesting but I thought the introduction of the Justice League muddled the story a bit.

I had kinda forgotten about this until I saw it at my local shop.... he had packaged the 3 issues for $25 (instead of the $30 cover) so I grabbed it... it's kinda terrible.
I see what he was trying to do, but it fails on just about every level, IMO. Trying to fix Superheroes into the real world just doesn't work... and this proved it. Allred's art is interesting.. his style is very different from what DC usually is, but I'm not sure I'd call it good... there's really no action to speak of in the whole series, just alot of philoposphy, and a whole lot of trying to make the pre-Crisis DCU work in the real world. Some of it is decent, but most of it is pretty ham-handed, to be honest.
Anyone else read it? Did I miss something?

I bought and read #1 and liked it well enough. I missed #2 and our shop sold out, so I am waiting on a reorder I placed when #3 showed up in my pull, so I haven't read #2 or 3 yet.

I thought it was only just okay, I loved Allred's art and I thought the end of the world solution was interesting.
