....mine is 'Swing with Scooter'. 36 issues, and opened my account with this one. Love this artwork, earlier issues are of this standard and then turn Archie-esque from around the mid teens or so.

I just about finished a from scratch series with my recent acquisitions being Gunhawks. It's only a 7 issue series but it was commanding high prices for mid and upper grade books. I was considering hunting down Luke Cage Hero for Hire from 1 to his last solo issue before teaming up with Iron Fist.

I'm about halfway done with my tour of the Legion of Super-Heroes, beginning with Shooter's run and then jumping into the early Giffen stories and The Great Darkness Saga.
After I've finished that, , I've got about sixty issues left to read of Avengers #80-300, and then it will likely either be John Byrne's Fantastic Four or Peter David's Incredible Hulk.

STARMAN by Jack Burnley. After BATMAN and DETECTIVE COMICS, this is the first time I've dug out a DC Archive to read a 2nd time.
I wound up doing this for 2 reasons. Recently, I made a connection in a blog article between the 1st Starman episode, Larry Ivie's Altron-Boy series, and the Gray Morrow SPIDER-MAN episode "Spiderman meets Skyboy". All 3 involve heroes who fly by anti-gravity, a kidnapped scientist, and a villain with lightning icons whose HQ is on top of a mountain.
The other... I just watched the first 3 episodes of STARGIRL. You don't often see the CREATOR of a comic-book series listed as the CREATOR and Executive Producer of a TV series based on it, AND, also writing some of the episodes!

This series was created and written by DC romance writer/editor Barbara Friedlander. A couple years ago she got turned on yo the comic convention scene and began appearing at local shows in my area. She's very proud of Scooter!

Probably the Gil Jourdan B-D series, though it might not be until next month and I'll probably read just the first three stories for now - those are the ones included in the first Intégrale collection that I just bought.

I misintepreted the thread, I thought the OP meant which series are you buying from scratch. If you mean reading, I have to state that I am finally going to start my Thor collection from #113 to 200. I spent the last 5 years acquiring the comics and am thinking to read one a day from Monday to Friday until I am done.

Not sure. There are a couple of series I recently started from scratch of from near scratch (i.e. I had a random single issue an decided to pursue the rest) that I'd like to finish before diving in. These include the Silver Age Atom series, Beware the Creeper (the Ditko original series), and Hot Wheels. There's also a few others I am knee deep in working on, so I am trying to avoid starting more, but there are some on my radar including...
the early 70s Skywald Comics series-I got a Heap #1, but Jungle Adventures and some pf the western titles are of interest
the 70s revival by Marvel of Combat Kelly and the Deadly Dozen
DC's Secret Six
the Ditko Hawk & Dove series
so we'll see. There are a lot of variables right now as to whether or not I start on these or not.

I'm finishing up Master of Kung Fu. Next up is Arak, son of Thunder. I bought a bunch of them in a dollar bin years ago, and liked what I read. I finished off the run between ebay and mycomicshop.com, so now I'm looking forward to reading the whole run!

I'm not a big Ditko fan, but it was quite good!

Need to finish MOKF and Marvel Tarzan. About 59 issues in on the 80's Jughead. Working on Marvel Adventures Avengers. Started up the Palmiotti and Gray Jonah Hex. Looking ahead: Classic Marvel Conan. Busiek Conan. ROM Spaceknight. Eternals mini series and Thor/Eternals run of stories. Further down the line original Unknown Soldier, G.I. Combat run of $1 Giant Size issues. Captain Savage, Combat Kelly. Devils Due G.I. Joe. So many to delve into and not enough time...

I started reading the Incredible Hulk starting from scratch a few weeks ago. I'm up to issue 118 so far and plan on reading through the Trimpe run.

I started reading Thor/Journey Into Mystery from the beginning, #83. I am now at issue #106 and will read up to the low teens, where I had read from back in the Stone Age.

Both buying and reading would qualify....this is my absolute first time with Scooter in terms of obtaining them and reading them.

I had never heard of this title until this morning. Second one the past week.
