I have that issue, and didn't think of it. When I saw it at the comic book store I was wondering if that was the Leader in full armor, so I bought it. I had read a lot more Hulk by the time I started reading Fantastic Four.

I always wondered about the editorial discussion on this one One of many indescribably awful DC covers from that era. That Ernie Chua, who probably drew half of them, is the artist only adds to its ugliness. Yuk. |

Ernie Chua covers sold a lot of comics to me as a kid. |

Stingray has a great costume, and the mask is a big part of it. Always loved that design.
