Sorry I missed the discussion! I wasted too much time messing around with zoom and then had to leave to get to the movie in time. But I have the updated version now so hopefully it'll run more smoothly next time around.

Films plural, as it turned out: they showed not only the full-length Harold Lloyd feature, Safety Last, but two shorts, Charlie Chaplin's Easy Street and Buster Keaton's The Scarecrow, all three highly entertaining. |

I've been reading the Power Man and Iron Epic Collection vol. 4: Hardball and came across something from our last chat. Aside from reprinting issues of PM&IF, the TPB excerpts 6 pages from Secret Wars II #2 involving Power Man and Iron Fist. That's where the dialogue Myke Gee referenced about Luke Cage came from. Shooter's other dialogue for Cage in those pages is similarly egregious. Shooter's scripting in Secret Wars II isn't representative of how Cage was usually scripted in the pages of Power Man and Iron Fist. |
