While I never hated the band, I was never a big fan. Even so, denying their success would be like denying the success of Prince in the same era. They were absolutely huge at one point.
However, I always thought it was a bit ironic that in a band called "Air Supply", the lead vocals often sounded like their air supply had been replaced with helium.
and P.S. Icctrombone, I should be available for Sunday, as we are expecting yet another 1/2 foot of snow in middle Tennessee. ...sheesh...

I love that y'all immediately took "we talked about Icc's wife's love of Air Supply" as not just a recap of what some of the conversation was about. . .but rather a dis of the band.

(and I think it may have come up since I brought up that i had bought the Deluxe edition anniversary issue of ONJ's "Physical" CD)

That's probably why I find 'Lost in Love' easier on the ears than their other songs: they don't use their usual piercingly high-pitched vocal style on that one. I thought there was another one I liked by them too but if there was I can't remember it off the top of my head.
