PET scan scheduled for Tuesday. what's frustrating, is that I've been here, on the computer. just not on CCF (was on TPR working on my trip report to try and finish that off). and texting with my Brother about my Dad. I just completely forgot

Life's priorities always come 1st @bert for us all. Our best wishes and prayers with you and your spouse, with @shaxper and Owen and for spoon with his upcoming shoulder surgery. May the CCF be a haven of well being, happy thoughts and joyous discussion to all our members during times of pain, difficulty and facing life in general. Today as always was stupendous discussion covering movies, comics (yes, George still has to punish us with Liefeld/Image talk), entertainment parks, the ups/downs with Kickstarter and ending with a "head" trip about the world of underground and counter culture comics and yes Marty, you missed out as your insight would have shined here. Until the next ZOOMAROUND COMEAROUND I remind you who haven't joined in awhile and those who have never taken the Zoom plunge with us...YOU ARE MISSING OUT. These are the m pi st casual, relaxed, friendly get togethers of friends just connecting and unwinding from the demands of life and work which we all deal with. Make time to drop in for 30 minutes or an hour to enjoy the fellowship and eats (someone is always here with food or talks of food, today yogurt, fixing dinner and chalupa's) with us CCF fans.

This is awesome. I half thought you were pulling our legs about this amusement park. Does it have a roller coaster for @bert ?

Never thought I'd see a roller coaster named after an Celtic Legend hero.... "Cú Chulainn".
I wonder if they have a James Joyce water slide or a St. Patrick's tilt-a-whirl?? Perhaps a William Butler Yeats Cheese Wheel of Death?

^ they have 3 operating, and 1 under construction! (tho apparently only one is "big".. . "Family" is lingo for smaller (ie: roller skater type coaster, spinning coaster on oval track, or kiddie coaster). you should just go to RCDB (Roller Coaster Data Base) to check - they list most parks/places, and even will list closed coasters that have been removed from parks
flip thru the pics at the RCDB page for the main park. .they have a number of pretty large thrill rides (including a Zamperla Air Race, a next Gen Enterprise, and some others). . it looks a lot to me like what the Busch Gardens parks in the 70's and 80's looked like: Tour the factory, a zoo / animal exhibit, and some rides for both kids and adults to enjoy while there.

Pretty sure I can't make it this week. I have to take someone to the airport Sunday afternoon, and Lord knows how long that will take.
