I am not sure those are from the Legends line. They look more like the figures in that scale they make to sell is discount stores and elsewhere with limited articulation and less than spectacular paint jobs, but it's hard to tell from just the pic.

which is the dollar store exclusive figure rather than anything from the 3.75 Legends retro line.

Still cool figures and a great buy, but I am skeptical they are up to Legends 3.75 standards.

edit to add: The Spidey doesn't have the weblines painted in on his uniform as the Legends 3.75 does either.

Question for those who have taken these off the blisters... (shaxper?) Someone on another toy forum I frequent (Mego) was asking what is on the folded paper packaged under the figures-anyone who has opened these ever looked at that insert to see what's on it?

Too ride to the other side of town and stopped in Roma Toys & Collectibles, te new vintage toy store that opened up last month. I picked up the Ms. Marvel at the grand opening, but they had a few more I was interested in, and I had some GI Joe stuff to trade for credit (some of the Adventure Team Book/Record sets and few other similar non-Joe things. Worked out a trade to get a couple more of these I didn't have-Magneto & the Torch...




I now have just about everything released that I wanted. I've passed on a handful (Iceman, Electro, Grey Hulk, Stealth Iron Man, etc.) I wasn't interested in. I am on the fence on Green Hulk (which they have at Roma) and Spider-Man (which I've never seen), but I think I am all set on these until a new wave comes out. I'd like to finish the FF, classic new X-Men and "my" Avengers (hoping for Thor, Yellowjacket, Wasp, Scarlet Witch, Wonder Man, Hawkeye and blue furry Beast to round out my era of Avengers), and maybe a key villain or three (Doom, Kang, Ultron Thanos, Kingpin) from the FF. Avengers and DD galleries in future waves, but we'll see. I'm running out of space again, so might start getting more selective.

It's positive killing me that I've been forbidden from buying any of the last two waves so that Santa has the option to get them for me. My birthday is a month after Christmas, so I'll have to wait until after that too before I can finally start buying these guys.

I actually did get permission to order that one, since Santa wasn't sure it would arrive in time for Christmas. I'll post pics when it gets here.

Got mine a few days ago.

Opened mine tonight. The presentation is awesome, but the figures themselves are inexcusably bad compared to the rest of the series. I guess they are assuming hardcore adult collectors won't take them out of the package anyway.









For the first time since I began collecting this series, I find the previous 3.75" scale Marvel versions of both figures to be superior.


BTW, @mrp, I paid attention this time, and the paper booklet included (it came in the box and not in the individual bubbles this time) is just copyright info and warnings printed in five gazillion languages.
