Probably one of the more well known Gumby shorts. Really have a deep fondness for the series as it's what started my love affair with stop-motion animation

So I know we're heading into Thanksgiving but beyond DJing a weekly punk show I also am a Christmas DJ & collect oddball holiday songs and do some Xmess podcasts, so I'm always looking for more unique junk. This is TODAYS favorite. Michael M - Humans Are Not Worth Saving (Merry Christmas)

Well, if we are going down that road, how about the spiritual fathers of Punk: The Kinks!

Well, if we are going down that road, how about the spiritual fathers of Punk: The Kinks! FYI - I've been hosting an annual Punk Rock Christmas radio broadcast on my show Sonic Reducer since 2004. I've also been an on air radio host on Xmas day for close to 10 years, and have been doing holiday themed podcasts for years too. I collect non-traditional holiday themed songs - it's a weird fixation that started with my dislike of regular Christmas songs and my love of songs like Don't Believe In Xmas by the Sonics, and Christmas With The Devil by Spinal Tap. I'd be happy to share some of my favorites if anyone is interested.

Early on in my career, I discovered this CD, from Rhino... It's my annual antidote. One of my favorite tracks is El Vez, doing Feliz Navidad... Los Straightjackets did another favorite Christmas album, and also crossed paths with another favorite, Nick Lowe.... (from Conan O'Brien)

An old favorite; Part of a short film that shows what went into making a Ronald McDonald commercial in the 70's

They missed the part where you swipe from the Krofft Brothers and get sued. I'm surprised that not much has gone on with the Krofft brothers and their legacy since the piss-poor 2009 film adaptation of Land Of The Lost. You'd think their stuff, as hammy and LSD inducing as it is, would be ripe for revival. I mean imagine a modern day Krofft Supershow or even Lidsville
