I nominate brutalis Take a look at any of his posts; he's always unfailingly pleasant and has a generous spirit. In addition, he creates a lot of fun threads that appeal to a variety of people here. And in "his" threads he's not one to hog the limelight; he welcomes all and makes sure to acknowledge everyone's contributions. He also "likes" a lot, which I think makes many of us here feel like we're being heard. Second. |

Since I couldn't nominate a favorite of many, icc, because he has already entered the Valhalla of Friendly Posters, let me now nominate farrar, who is unfailingly polite, cordial, helpful, and never ever says the wrong thing the wrong way to anyone, all the while making pithy comments, informative posts, owning the cover contest and running herd on everything as a judicious mod.

And I do try to provide threads covering more than just classic comics as we all have wide ranging interests which will include all members here to participate with. You are very correct in that I "likes" a lot here. I know there are many who are in/out throughout the day and if they make an effort to remark or participate I wish to let them know someone else has seen and appreciates their post! It only takes a click for letting a fellow member know they provided me (and others) with a smile or a laugh or a thought or interest. Especially when they post within my own threads, I like acknowledging folks. A Thumbs up/likes is a quick way to giving a shout out and saying hey, I see you and appreciate you! |

I can readily second Farrar nomination, as his help and responses are always of the most genial and amiable around town! And when has Icctrombone gone on to delivering mail in Valhalla? That's a HELA of a thing to say about someone Hal! How the HADES could you do such a thing to our favorite carrier of mail? Does he get his very own winged horse to help him speedily deliver? And I know the postman's motto of through rain or snow and/or dog or cat attacks, but does that cover Frost Giant's and Rock Trolls?!? |

Though fwiw I'm not an original CCF member ; I joined about a year after CCF's inception (and I did lurk a bit before I took the plunge ). I had been reading them over on CBR then was saddened when they left. Hadn't known of the CCF & found it browsing one day & think I lurked a bit longer before signing as my job at the hospital was in the midst of major changes. Signed up once things settled down & been typing away ever since. |

You were granted the Power Cosmic as herald to the great interstellar Comic Blog Eater to soar the space-ways and warning planets of their imminent CCF membership devouring until you chose to turn upon your former master and were then banished and stranded here upon Earth to managing the CCF forevermore? Your parents were stuck with slow internet and a CCF flew in your window and you said...that's it, I shall take upon the mantle of the CCF and fight slow internet and internet boredom with the fearful visage of the night that is....CCF!
