2009....sometimes a photo cover works too
Full open cover looks like this (don't want to open my copy)
Never knew that this existed! I love this film.
"Warriors... come out to play-yay!"

I never saw this movie although it's a cult classic. Is it any good ?

I never saw this movie although it's a cult classic. Is it any good ? Kind of depends on your tastes. There are some really engaging scenes; but, there are also some rather wooden performances. It's episodic, so a bit stop and go. Still, there are a lot of memorable scenes and everyone seems to remember David Patrick Kelly and James Remar. I've always found most of Walter Hill's films to be very mixed bags, but, always have something really good in them.

what I always referred to as "the broken necks, with teeny tiny club foots, cover" nice choice.

The only issue I re-bought (mostly for Thanos by Mike Zeck) but there's something about that cover that seems iconic. Here's a George Perez portfolio piece...

The Thanos back story is the only reason I own that one issue. I’ve not read it or seen the movie. But it’s the first thing that came to mind for this weeks criteria.

I checked on comicspriceguide.com....it's nowhere near $2500....a 9.4 NM gets you $15
I didn't get nowhere close to that advertised $2500 when I sold this issue and the following ones adapting the movie on eBay some years ago. Just another shattered childhood dream.

Why is there a Thanos story by Zeck as a back-up in an issue of a series adapting a sci-fi movie??
