4. Doom Patrol and the Flash Brave and the Bold # 65 (DC, 1966)
Barry Allen's Flash seemed to pop up a lot back in the Brave and the Bold (before Batman became the established co-star) and here he's co-starring with the Doom Patrol. Bob Haney's script/dialogue is in keeping with DP writer Arnold Drake's style. The story featured the DP's perennial foes the Brotherhood of Evil. The cover was by regular DP artist Bruno Premiani. All in all this issue seemed like a Doom Patrol story with a guest appearance by the Flash. Which suited me fine, as I was more of a DP fan than a Flash fan.
