Nopenopenopenope. The 70's Planet of the Apes still creeps me out. For whatever reason, the recent movies do not creep me out (at least not AS much), but the original gave me nightmares as a child. It terrified me. Obviously, now as an adult, they don't terrify me anymore, but maybe they creeped me out because they did not look ape enough? I don't know. But, damn. |

I think it's because they remind me of the animatronics creatures of the Showbiz Pizza days. My friends would ALWAYS ask me to go to Showbiz with them when I was little. I went one time, and I am pretty sure I was on edge the entire time. Seriously. Worst nightmare ever.  |
