In a site where people argue about who's stronger (Thor or Mighty Mouse), I know the members here have had superhero costumes in their past. Post pictures of yourself in dress-up. ( Yeah I know, they call it cosplay now.)

Thankfully, I made sure there was no evidence to incriminate me.
I did have a wicked Grendel costume on year, though.

We have like a hundred photos of our old cats but not that many of my brother and myself, never mind in costumes. Our halloween costumes were really low budget non-copyright affairs... one time I was whatever a hula grass skirt up to my neck was supposed to be, and another an old sheet with two holes for eyes, and my brother was the guitarist from Cheap Trick; had a green jacket with a lot of badges and buttons stuck on and a ball cap. As an adult I still don't get into it... I went to one theme party as 'V' alien which only required me to just have an orange ball hat, a plastic gun and hiss now and then. With my sewing skills I coulda been a contendah today... no idea why I never went in that direction. Now my arthritis makes any big project out of the question anyway.

Halloween isn't quite as big a deal over here in the UK as it is in the States, but that said, I dressed up a number of times as a kid as a random blood-drenched ghost, or some generic mad scientist-type etc. The only time I can remember dressing up as a recognisable character from fiction was when I was about 7 and my Mum helped make me a Luke Skywalker costume. I'm not even wholly sure this was for Halloween...it may'be just been for a friend's fancy dress birthday party.
Anyway, although there is photographic evidence, it's locked away in the attic of my Mum's house and doesn't exist in digital form. Which is a shame because it would surely melt your hearts...I look that cute! 😘

It has been at least 25 years since I even semi-dressed up for Halloween. Just not my bag. And I suspect there are no photos of it.

I'm jealous, I've always wanted a good replica Nextgen Starfleet uniform, I haven't dressed up since college but if I had one of those I'd dress up for sure. The closest I ever got was a cheap Kelvin version, it was a Spock costume but I decided against the ears and wig and said I was Bones instead:  I think that was like 2008. Homemade Waldo costume from 2006:  Buddy Christ 2005:  You can't tell but the costume consisted of a white t-shirt, sandals, a blue bedsheet toga...and my boxers. |

The only picture of me in a Halloween costume that exists is a picture of me in a rabbit costume that my mom made for me. Even if I did want to post it she's got it and lives over 1,000 miles away, so I am off the hook.  EDIT: Actually, I have to take that back. I think that, buried somewhere, is a picture of me in what's supposed to be a (cheap, store bought) Robin Hood costume, but I look more like an elf.  |

I dressed up as Captain Chaos for a school Halloween party in 1986, but I don't think I have any photos of it.
