I'll give this a try !
also
and the same article says that Amazon is working on a live-action tv series of Grimjack !
I've thought for years he'd be great what with Cynosure and everything topsy turvy. I hope this pans out.

DC is relaunching the 100 page giant line starting in Sept. direct and mass market versions will be available. These replace and expand the Walmart giants that ended. -M I really like the variety of titles they are doing.

As a lot of you may already know, Marvel is completely revamping the X-Men line of comics with Johnathan Hickman in the driver's seat. Starting with two titles: House of X Powers of X I guess this is supposed to be a pretty epic, interwoven story. House of X is supposed to take place in the present, and I think Powers of X has to do with the history of mutantkind. Both will run alternatively for 12 weeks straight. House of X releases on July 24th, and Powers of X the following week. So both are 6 issue mini series I believe. Also, six other X titles are going to be launched. You can read more about it here: www.polygon.com/2019/7/20/20702170/house-of-x-men-marvel-comics-excalibur-marauders-new-mutants-fallen-angels-x-force-sdcc-2019Looks like it's a good time to be an X-Men fan again. At least as far as the comics are concerned, which for the last few years now have been average to lackluster mostly. I'm guessing Marvel is making a strong push to put these guys back on top now that the Fox deal happened.

I WANT it to go well. but I'm not feeling all that hopeful.

Looking forward to Strange Adventures quite a bit. Love the Tom King/Mitch Gerards collaborations.
I read the House of X/Powers of X preview and it has me interested in seeing what Hickman will be doing with them.

I really like Hickman but I'm so done with the X-Men.

That's kinda depressing if so because these books were, as I understand it, great value and right out there under the general public's noses, as opposed to tucked away in a comic specialty shop.

I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been any word on new series for the Eternals or MoKF, since those were the two big movie announcements - or do they not usually do anything in the comics when they start promoting the movies? I haven't really paid attention to how they work that, maybe the movies are such a separate thing they don't bother with the comics side.

No! We already have Disney Marvel version. The same thing, even solicitation is similar: By any religious entity! ... Conan is soft-rebooted - super-safe, censored and with political agenda. Now civilized, enlightened, socially conscious, and almost gender-neutral...
Seriously this is great news. Looking forward (will be buying all of it).
Ablaze, they should do Bouncer. It's a damn good western. (And the western like you haven's seen before, they already named a genre after it - Jungian Western lol).

While I'm excited to get these new books as I've loved the reviews of them by Roquefort Raider the Marvel books don't fit the description you gave at all. I'll be the first to say I'm not super impressed by the new Marvel stories but censored, civilized and gender neutral? Definitely not.
