I have bought Superman and Action and the other Superman titles consistently up to Bendis since Crisis. Bendis was my jump off point. Looks like I made the right call. Superman and Action are the longest continuing purchases I have in my collection. Some has been better, but it's never been BAD. Any franchise has ups and downs, but my faith in Bendis is next to zero. I'll probably jump on post-Bendis. Except for Daredevil, I can't think of another creator outside of Todd McFarlane or Chuck Austen that I dislike as much as Bendis (oh wait, Ales Kot, but that's really bad). Bendis was great on Ultimate Spidey.. but that's the only character he can write, IMO... every character under his pen has the same voice. I was a big fan of Ultimate Marvel but Ultimate Spidey is the only character there I haven't followed. I'll eventually go back and get them. Miles is super cool.

You definitely should, it's easily one of the best takes on Spider-Man of all time.

Supergirl 28: Supergirl and the Omega Men fight an army of monster Supergirl clones as the conspiracy around Krypton’s destruction grows. This was a fun issue, although it seems like the arc had stalled. I do like the growing chemistry between Supergirl and Ryand’r, although I was happy to see Z’ndr (And Krypto) reunited with Supergirl. At the conclusion we see more aliens associated with Rogol Zaar being instructed to murder Supergirl. The art wasn’t my cup of tea and I’m growing weary of this story. 6/10

Wonder Twins#2: when I started reading this issue, I wasn’t too impressed. However, as the story went on, I found it to be quite clever and funny. I loved the League of Annoyance and Drunkula is interesting. Also interesting is the call center prison sponsored by Lex Luthor. Certain aspects of the story are silly, but I expect that from a book about the Wonder Twins. Beast Boy was pretty useless in this story though. Silly, entertaining fun? Why not!? The art is nice. 6/10

Bummed that Hitch's last Hawkman work is # 12 but frankly amazed he was able to maintain 12 issues.
Hope this Will Conrad guy is good.
I hate how titles start off A-list and then just slowly fizzle downward from there.
Hopefully that's not the case here.

This is the first time in many, many years that I've bought both Superman and Action comics. They are really good , although I'm not a fan of Superman's son. Give it a try, Hondo.

Superman #9: felt like filler to me, as I’m not Interested in Jon. I did like the horror of seeing his father’s evil double and the contrasts in How good Superman is And how horrible Ultraman is. The beginning sequence with all the heroes and Zod ( and some of those silhouettes looked very LSH) was interesting enough but just didn’t seem to fit here. And why does Wonder Woman always have to be depicted as having a daughter in these future scenes?Assuming the kid next to her is hers? Would be much more interesting if she had a son. Overall not a horrible issue, but quite wonky and treading water. 5/10

Wow.. two people in a row that don't like Jon? Did Bendis break him? He was a breathe of fresh air when I was reading, but didn't Bendis age him or something?
