Jezebel is more of a 'collector' than most here... she often posted about CGC'ed book and variant covers. I think most of the fights (though they've always been rather type by most internet standards) have been about valuing the book over the story.

They're both incredibly stubborn when their opinions are challenged. And it's clear this community values them both, so they're going to have to find a way to get along or ignore/avoid each other. I really don't want to have to break up fights and put people in the corner.  |

I've noticed she's interested in the collector side of things, but she's also obviously a fan of the characters and stories so I have no issues with it. (For instance, our recent discussion of the Joker in New52) The only times in my comic book past that I'd taken issue with this is with certain individuals who literally never read the books or cared anything about the characters but "slabbed" them for investments. Even then, it was more an "art first" issue with me. It goes without saying that people are free to enjoy the hobby as they please. |

what about Mike from Mike's Amazing world of comics, he posted as DC Indexer on the CBR forums? Anyone in contact with him to invite him here and make it known we exist? I loved seeing him post his latest acquisitions in the what classic comics have you gotten recently thread.
