I was surprised to open the Sunday funnies this week at my parents' home and see an actual fantasy adventure story being serialized therein. Apparently, three months ago Wiley Miller decided to start using the longer format available on Sundays to tell such a story in his "Non Sequitur" strip. It's too early to say where it's going, but the experiment seemed noteworthy. I couldn't copy an image, so here's a link to the first installment. Others are available at the same site.
