Coloring is hard for me because I'm color blind Fascinating. Completely color blind, or just some colors?

Coloring is hard for me because I'm color blind Fascinating. Completely color blind, or just some colors? Just some colors. I'm red/green color blind. I've heard that for regular people, red and green are opposite colors. But for me, they blend into each other; if I see something red and something green next to each other I can usually tell, and tell which is which, but if it's just one in a vacuum, I often mistake one for the other. Apparently I also have just a generally dull sense of those and adjacent colors, as I'm often told to look at, say, some sunset or something that's supposed to be amazing but I'm just not seeing it. Some darker reds and purples ad stuff meld into brown for me. I think that's why I gravitate towards classic, bold, old school 4-color comic coloring, as I need things high contrast in order for the colors to stand out for me. Modern coloring is just a dull mess for me.

Hello, friends!
since I know a lot of people dream of making their own comics, I did a massively long video going into as much detail as I could about every aspect of my creative journey so far making The Crimebusters. It's very long, but I have put a bunch of helpful time stamps in the description if people are looking for information on specific topics. Thanks for all the support with this!

I can get purple and brown confused... early '60s Marvels can really start to look alike! Also I have one eye that sees things in a warm version and one that sees things in a colder hue... sort of like having one rose-colored eyeball. Not as extreme a difference as David Bowie had visually between eyes, I have no idea what he saw, one pupil was always dilated for him letting more light in. Looking forward to seeing Crimebusters #2 on the doorstep.

Looking forward to seeing Crimebusters #2 on the doorstep. I'm hoping to get it packed up and shipped out this week, possibly the beginning of next. The comics arrived before my packing material did! But the envelopes are finally here today so I can start getting things ready.

I'm almost done sendig out all the rewards for issue #2, so I've finally gotten back to the drawing board -- literally! -- to begin work on #3. Here's a look at the Kickstarter exclusive legacy numbering variant cover for issue #3 (or #122, in this case), which is an homage to the work of Alphonse Mucha:

Thanks! I think this is the best thing I've done so far.
Certainly took the longest, anyway!

^^I like this one too. Still digging the variant more, but that is a cool cover for the regular book.

You've laid the groundwork for an incredibly rich story -- politics, intolerance, personal grief/healing. So unfair to tease us with this. I need more.
