Official count by publishers for my listings: Marvel has 7 DC has 3 Dell has 1 and 1 from "other"
What can I say, going with what I know and collected during my teen years (the late 70's) for the most part with a few coming from later on. Let the guessing begin! Double DAWG dare ya...

I've gradually remembered or thought of enough things that I'm now having trouble making decisions. A couple in particular just occurred to me the last day or so that I hadn't really thought of as adaptations but I finally realized they actually are, according to the rules. But I might be able to save all my favourites via the "entire series" or "specific run" clauses (must consult my lawyers ...)
All the same, it looks like I won't be able to include any of the new (to me) things I've managed to look at for this year's 12 Days, though one of them is so very outstanding it might force me to leave out an old favourite. Thank Heaven for the Near-Misses thread!

It is the morning of the 13th and I finally did my last writeup. The breakdown of companies is: Marvel 4 DC 2 other 6I might end up having the goofiest list of non conventional picks , but that's the fun of it.

I dare say, one of my picks no one will duplicate and might break the forum in half.

I dare say, one of my picks no one will duplicate and might break the forum in half. I believe the same, especially as I am not sure my pick will have been published outside the UK (or whether any non-Brits will even be aware of the franchise).

I must say that within just a few days you folks are showing vast creativity and an ability for diving deep into this Christmas listing! I wish there was more hours in the day, but between the holidays being so busy and hectic moments combined with "forced" time off (yay to four days off for Christmas and New Years, boo to all the extra effort cramming 5 days of work into 3 plus the usual weekend catching up) causing my limited access for looking and less responding to everyone beyond "liking". As time allows I hope to find some time for an occasional note or three about all the great choices! you guys and gals are AWESOME!

That's a nice post, brutalis. Ditto to all of that.
Not only have I been pleased to see some choices represented (e.g. Marvel's Star Trek), I've also learnt of titles that even I, a long-time comic reader, didn't know existed. That's cool.

I seem to have a math failure somewhere.
EDIT: No, I just got confused because Shaxper quoted by Day 4 entry on Day 5. So when I saw a Conan quote from me on Day 5, I got thrown off.
It doesn't help that I am 9 hours ahead of Kurt after being 2 hours behind him last year, so I have no idea what day it is.

But the time lag would probably still throw you off!!! Brain fatigue, not just a symptom anymore, but a way of life these days

Or 300 years behind.

I am enjoying all of the choices in the various threads, but I am disappointed that so many seem to be unavailable either digitally or via a reprint volume. So many I'd like to buy, some of which I was unaware of.
Good choices, folks!
