Half of the new members seem to be refugees from Earth 2. Does this make the message board a Future's End tie in?

Much as I'm pleased, number of members is a pretty meaningless statistic. Many people join, never post, or post one or two times, and then never return. Our breaking the record of number of people online at the same time is a much more meaningful achievement for our board, from my perspective, because that's taking into account the number of regular members we have here that consider this place a home. It also counts guests, of course, and we've had a lot more guests visiting as I've been a lot more active on our facebook page as of late. Well, however you want to look at it, 200 members, the most users online at one time since the site started, and (yes) almost 500 likes on the facebook page...there's no doubt we're growing

Ya know, if we had 84 people online at one time on a Sunday night, I'm kinda' thinking we might break the record again tonight...

Might depend, for some (certainly not moi, even if I had TV, which I don't), on when the stupid National Felons League game ends.

Not sure why last night grabbed the (so far) crown; these things, obviously, just happen, & I doubt obvious factors are involved. (Same thing, IIRC, for what- & whenever the record was on CBR back before the teardown.)

(Same thing, IIRC, for what- & whenever the record was on CBR back before the teardown.) Number of guests was about the same last night as it was the night before, so it was member presence that was different. Could be that the newness of the place is wearing off for some of our HOJ folks, and it can also be that some of us are just plain more busy/tired on a Monday. We actually had roughly the same number of users log on last night, but not at the same time. I take that to mean that people just spent less time online than they did the night before, so less overlap. Thinking about it too much? Yep. Has that way of thinking helped this site grow over the past five months? Yep. Does that therefore keep giving me more incentive to drive myself crazy thinking about these things rather than kicking back and enjoying the CCF's success? Yep
