I had a hand me down Millennium Falcon and a Voltron. Those were my two coolest toys.
If I could choose four it would be my TMNT figures though

Too bloody exhausted to wax eloquent about my own completely unsurprising pick, so I'll just copy what I posted in early July in the "Meanwhile ..." thread -- It is well known that the greatest toy of all time was, & will forever remain,Man, even recast sets from a few years ago appear to go for nearly $400. *sigh*

By the 1980s, you would have had to buy each figure and vehicle (individually packaged) as well as the playset. And by the 2000s, the playset would have been sold in parts that then combined together.

That reminds me of the little military men you can buy in a bag at the drug store. I had a little collection of those. Sometimes the ice cream man sold them. The parachute one was fun. Gave a 7 year old a reason to climb onto a roof

I still have everything from my childhood that I really wanted. I did own Dark Tower at one point and my brother had the Mighty Men & Monster Maker and the Fort Apache set. I still have my comics, books, 1st Edition D&D books and the Red Box Set, Star Wars action figures and anything else related to it, G.I. JOE action figures, some board games and an Atari 2600. One thing I liked that didn't last was the Super Friends Colorforms.

This toy, probably more than any other "got me into comics" but I also had these to go with it... plus others featuring Disney stories, Hanna Barbara cartoons, G.I. Joe Adventure Team, etc. -M
