Inspired by the Homage or Swipe Thread Comic thread elsewhere, I thought I'd start a companion piece of sorts in which people share those songs which they believe (or can easily tell) are reworkings of something similar.

Peter, Paul, and Mary "Stewball" (an 18th century piece of music) vs. John Lennon's "Happy X-Man (War is Over)" Hmmm. Just which of them was the "Happy X-Man?" They all seemed kinda angsty to me. Unless we're talking about the originals; then it could be either Bobby or Hank.
