Really?? I think I paid $120 for mine a decade back. Of course, it was the Korean version, but the quality is exactly the same. Still, it's one of the most impressive combiner robots ever created. If any toys is going to sell for that much, Goldran deserves it. Couple years ago one kid brought one at my LCS for $450.00 a couple of year ago and they are in high demand and quite popular and that's why they are collectibles these days. I have seen three of them at my LCS. Interesting thanks for that eBay link, had seen one months ago for over $1000 and IMO $600 is pretty pricey as well for that figure. It's definitely one of the harder to find and coolest looking Brave figures! |

I just picked up the Figures Toy Co. Mego Style Adam West Batman  Here he is with the original Mego Batman.  (As a kid It never threw me that you could see Batman's eyes in his mask since I was watching the series every day after school and Adam's eyes were clearly visible...on the other hand, I do recall using my mom's white-out on my Batman and Robin figures to make them "Comic-accurate") Finally here he is with his counterparts from NECA and Mattel  |

Finally got the Hiya Toys Rise of the Planet of the Apes Caesar  Here he is with his later incarnation from NECA's Dawn Lineup.  (Still Have to get the Hunter Painted versions of Caesar and Koba as well as the Rise Koba but here's my Rise/Dawn set so far.  |

So the other day TNI reported that NECA was doing Batman Begins Batman and arkham city harley Quinn as it's Holiday super heroe figures (Personally I would have preferred to get a Burt Ward Robin to go with Last year's Adam west Batman over Harley quinn but I guess we'll have to wait til Next Year. anyway, while I'm waiting for the Batman begins batman to hit the shelves I decided to start scrounging up some of his older brothers (previous incarnations) Today I got the Mattel Dark Knight Movie Masters Batman Begins Batman  As a standalone figure or with the others with his own line he looks fine enough Although I personally would have preferred they use a cloth-goods cape over a vinyl one for this likeness as his cape in the movie didn't have the Pleather looks that Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney and/or Affleck seem to have. The other thing is that when I put him with Mattel's other Batman/DC lines and he's easily the runt of the litter Here he is with Adam West Batman from the '66 line and Ben affleck's Batman from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice  Hopefully tomorrow I'll have the First batman begins figure and then by the weekend I think we'll have the NECA version |

So after finding out I wouldn't be able to attend the Jim & Dan Comic & Toy Show on Dec 4th, I decided to take a drive out and check out a vintage toy store I hadn't been to before. It was located near an LCS that started their Black Friday sales event last Friday, so I was killing 2 birds (and spending a lot more $$) with one stone. I only picked up 2 things at the shop (it was highly disorganized as they had just moved into a new storefront down the street form the old one and weren't fully unpacked yet). They had lots of super-hero and especially wrestling related stuff, but no Micronauts  I did find another piece from Tarzan Epic Adventures line though...  and picked up a MIB Ming's Jaws of Death Throne from the 90s Flash Gordon animated series line...  it was my first piece from that line... -M |

Just Got The 7" Heath Ledger Joker figure from NECA  I know he's been out for about a year but It just didn't feel right getting him without a Christian Bale Batman  Here he is with his Mattel Movie Masters doppleganger....  and finally my NECA DC gang altogether  I'm on the fence about the Arkham City Harley Quinn because I really would rather have had a Burt Ward Robin to go with the Adam West Batman (they did the 1/4 scale version of BW as Robin so shrinking him down shouldn't be too "off the page" for them. and today on iTunes i got:  ordered the CD three weeks ago but buysoundtrax takes so bloody long to send stuff this time of year that I got sick of waiting. |

Just picked up the DC TV Arrow Flash two pack  Here's my "Quiver"  Here's my Speed Force  Here's Flash with Reverse Flash re-enacting a famous moment  It's a work in progress I admit I don't have a "FionaWebb" just yet but I think that if. I get a BTVS Wedding Day Anya, she'll fit in nicely Also I need to find better Backgrounds but this is largely a"rough Sketch" at this point |
