From what I've read there haven't been any real threats...but a lot of mentions of a self published comic project that they're doing. I hate to be cynical, but it seems like a marketing ploy to me.

More fun - comicgaters are saying they're against new creators being hired by the major publishers without prior comics experience, and then they argued with a number of creators like NEIL GAIMAN saying they were hired for their first jobs after just submitting samples or making a pitch with out any prior published comics work, so they just argued with the creators. I am spending way too much time on twitter watching this stuff. Of course there was other stuff too.

Yeah, I was just alerted to Gaiman's twitter troubles yesterday. And he's not the only one: some guys were similarly annoying Kurt Busiek as well. Totally, f-ing bonkers.
