Of course all of the characters in comic books are idealized and perfect in their appearances but I was wondering which characters are considered hunks or babes within the respective universes. Dick Grayson seems to be ogled by the females and Spidergirl seems to get a lot of attention by the opposite sex. Can you think of any others that are the Brad Pitts or Kim Khardashians of the comic world ?

This is interesting topic, Icc, because you're not simply saying "who do you think is hot?". You're asking who do the characters in a given comic universe perceive as being hot. Great idea for a thread. The first character that sprang to my mind was Mary Jane Watson. Right from her first few veiled appearances, back when Steve Ditko was drawing Amazing Spider-Man, it was clear that she was incredibly attractive. And not just to men...even other women, such as Betty Brant and Liz Allen, commented on her exceptional beauty. Later on, once we'd met her properly, it's clear from comments made by the male members of Spidey's supporting cast and Peter himself -- not to mention the gentlemen at the club she danced at (remember that issue?) -- that she was an extremely attractive woman. Eventually, of course, she became a successful and in demand model, further highlighting that she possessed considerable beauty. Since then, there have been lots of instances of male Marvel characters fawning over her. So yeah, even within the hyper-attractive environs of Marvel comics, MJ is definitely meant to be a stand out babe.

See your MJ and raise you a Gwen Stacy. Always thought Gwen was a natural hometown beauty where MJ is more fantasy big city nightclub beauty.

Oh, Gwen was cute as all hell, and, as you say, a "natural hometown beauty". No doubts there. But within the Marvel Universe, I think MJ was always supposed to be completely "out-of-this-world hot". You know, the kind of woman that, to many men (and women), would be intimidatingly attractive. And, as I say, the characterisation of her in that way goes right back to the Lee/Ditko days.

Definitely this Black CAT! Jeez, come on. Let's not turn this into another saddo, basement-dwelling, soft porn masturbation thread! The Classic Comics Community is a better and more inclusive place than that. The OP was asking which fictional comic characters were considered to be hot by the other fictional characters inhabiting their particular universes. Not which cosplayer do you most like to ogle and drool over.

Don't know about most but Dredd is meant to have a fan following, Judges in general are show as a marmite group of people. In the early strips he shown to get fan mail (which he ignores/shreds unopened) and Galen DeMarco is the most notable to have feelings for Dredd, something that has been used against him and her a few times because rather then reporting a fellow judge (they are meant to be totally celibate)as she kisses him, Dredd just warns her and then ignores her. A few progs have been about her love with the guy which he never returns. Quiet often there have been comedic strips too about Dredd being in receiving end of unwanted affection by men/women/robots

On the dude side, Superman (duh), Thor ('nother duh), Tony Stark, Namor, Angel (Warren Worthington), Human Torch (Johnny Storm) and Northstar are, I think, a few of the obvious heartthrobs.
I agree about Mary Jane for the most part. A few others I think were considered particularly attractive even among the ranks of the already quite attractive ranks of super-heroines (and, let's be frank, villainesses) are Wonder Woman (duh), Catwoman, Storm, Powergirl, Enchantress, Scarlet Witch and Starfire (the Teen Titan). Two others who don't seem generally as popular but who I found particularly attractive as portrayed in their respective series are Monica Lynne (from Black Panther) and Cap's one-time girlfriend Bernie Rosenthal.

Not which cosplayer do you most like to ogle and drool over. First that was exactly what I was doing. Black Cat is considered hot by other characters. I just chose to use a human being posing as black cat. Now my other point Your post of MJ in a teddy squishing her tits is a sexualized pose! It wasn't drawn for any other reason. But my post of a woman posing in a Black Cat costume not showing anything mind you,is mastabatory material? I am sorry if I offended so many ADULTS. Lighten Up Francis! (Stripes) oh and I'm sure someone could masturbate to your post of MJ just as easily if they so chose.

The OP was asking which fictional comic characters were considered to be hot by the other fictional characters inhabiting their particular universes. Not which cosplayer do you most like to ogle and drool over. Ok so let me get this straight. Your post of MJ in a teddy squishing her tits together which could be taken as a sexualized pose done on purpose is ok because it's a drawing. But my post of a woman posing in a Black Cat costume not showing anything mind you,is mastabatory material? I am sorry if I offended so many ADULTS. Lighten Up! oh and I'm sure someone could masturbate to your post of MH just as easily. My post was on-topic. Yours was wilfully off-topic, had little context and no bearing on the what the OP was asking. This is an all-ages, safe for work forum, so it's not just ADULTS (why that was capitalised in your post, I have no idea) that you need to be concerned with. Posting on topic comic book art is one thing -- because that's what we're here to discuss, after all -- but posting off-topic pictures of overly sexualised female cosplayers is not something that is particularly good for the community IMHO. Lest we forget, there are a few female members here or perhaps unregistered women browsing the forum, and yours is exactly the kind of needlessly sexualised, "boys clubhouse" post that may discourage their participation in the forum or even end up offending (not that I want to speak for our female members). Either way, I think off-topic, thinly-veiled wank pics like yours are probably best left off of the forum. You've got the rest of the Internet if you wanna look at that stuff.
