Can I ban any further coverage of foreign pampered royals and their weddings, births or divorces? We have enough pointless celebrities in this country without importing other countries'. I would declare a further American Revolution to get the Windsors off my media streams. I would even deport some Kardashians to seal the deal. Germany can have Trump back, while we are at it. You Stephen Frys, Emma Thompsons, Hugh Lauries, Craig Fergusons, Doctors Who, etc are fine.

1) Universal Basic Income + health care reform. I try and fail to stay out of the political discussions, but I won't pass up an opportunity to spread the word on UBI. First-world countries can afford this, and it's the right thing to do. Among other benefits, this would have made a proper lock-down so much less stressful to weather. Followed, of course, by a proper lock-down.

Activate the CDC's standing protocols immediately and start stockpiling PPE, medicines and other vital supplies. Gear up test supplies immediately and figure that they will be needed in the major cities within 6 weeks. Push for something like the UK and Canada with everyone covered for 2/3 salary and implement testing at airports and seaports ASAP.Put the military on standby for back-up hospital situations. And so on.
Thing is, the CDC routinely run viral war games; so, they had plans and protocols which were not activated. While researching his novels, Max Brooks (World War Z) spent time at the CDC and witnessed some of this and spoke about the protocols and scenarios they had in place; but, a failure of leadership did not activate them when they should have bee.

As an ancom, I don't quite know how to answer this....
"I still regard Jesus Christ today as the chief focus of my perspective on God but not to the exclusion of other religious perspectives. God's reality is not bound by one manifestation of the divine in Jesus but can be found wherever people are being empowered to fight for freedom. Life-giving power for the poor and the oppressed is the primary criterion that we must use to judge the adequacy of our theology, not abstract concepts."
Pre-emptive friendly warning: we have very recently been warned not to discuss politics.
"What would you do" scenarios are fine, but please no criticism of current politicians.
See - I'd be tempted to say something like 'I wouldn't ridicule people with physical disabilities' for instance, but in a post-2016 America I wouldn't know if such a position makes me a normal human being or simply intolerant of other people's political beliefs.

Is "Not act like a spoiled little 8 year-old jack ass in a 70+ year old body" too political for what I would do, if I was a world leader?
If so, then just cross it out and put "Act with a bit of maturity, thoughtfulness, and dignity, as befitting such a position."
Leadership isn't hard; no matter what the management book industry would have you believe. You aren't necessarily born to it, it is a learned skill. Forget the 7 habits, the TQM, the whatever is the current management buzzword and distrust anyone who uses words like "synergize." It all boils down to setting the example for others to follow, treat people with courtesy and respect, take care of the needs of those you lead, set expectations high, hold people accountable for their actions, and always remember you bear the ultimate responsibility for everything that occurs under your watch, whether you were directly involved or not.
