Galaxy Trio handled very good and Parker did a nice job making them relevant and he used Space Ghost as a Mentor is excellent and the four of them worked together in pure Hanna Barbera fashion!
Future Quest Presents #5 ... Written by Phil Hester, Art and Cover by Steve Rude - Birdman! ... I was happy to see Birdman appear in this issue and Hester captured him quite nicely and this is the first story that I read of Phil Hester and he did a great job doing it. Loved Avenger his trusted Blue Eagle and one of my favorite cartoon character. I loved the drama, the excitement that this story brings. Hester and Rude makes a great team --- 10/10.
Future Quest Presents #6 ... Same Talent team in #5 ... Fantastic Story of the history of Birdman and dealing his deadliest foe Mentok the Mind-Taker! ... It's captured the soul of Birdman's Cartoon Show in great Hanna Barbera Fashion and I felt that Hester did an admirable job capturing Birdman and this team of Hester and Rude shines --- 10/10.
Future Quest Presents #7 ... Same Talent team in #5 ... Packed with great stuff and perils --- Birdman has it tough and dealing with Mentok and everything got thrown to him ... not to mentioned being a Father and that's was a total shock to him and dealing with it and never, ever knew about it. His Son threw a curveball and not to mention dealing with Mentok is like a double whammy effect that really takes a beating here. Hester did a great job writing it and I'm glad that I'm reading Future Quest Presents ... this series really have that Hanna Barbera flavor and enjoying every pages of it.
