Not sure if this is viable, but it might be fun...let me know if it works for y'all... The Mysterious Stranger-somehow linked to the Phantom Stranger who no longer fills that role, so he now bears the mantle-not a member of the group, but much like me the admin, simply shows up in times of trouble with a pronouncement, warning, or clue to lead the heroes towards a solution. Known only as the Stranger, when he is addressed or referred to at all, his real name and origins remain a mystery... -M I like that idea...showing up to give cryptic warnings of possible impending doom.

Yeah, not looking to be a regular character or even one who engages in the action, more a recurring plot device or P.O.V. kind of thing.

Mother unknown, for looks, a more contemporary update on traditional Phantom Stranger garb, still formal but less turtleneck and cape-go old school with the medallion rather than new52 with the chain of coins (I despise that update). Maybe add some eyewear-sunglasses o hide the white eyes that he only removes to hold someone in his gaze to emphasize the importance of what he is about to say...
Other than that, go nuts have fun.

Maybe give him a duster or trenchcoat of some sort to keep the profile a little more traditional....

I'm cool with that. Can you provide me with more details on her trick devices so I can use this character more appropriately? Awesome! I'll get on this after dinner and drawing homework! I should have it by tommrow evening! Is this ok?

Looks like the roster is filling up. Got room for another one? I've worked up a daughter of Hawkman and Hawkgirl.

This is going to be an interesting lineup here and I for one is very interested in seeing the new lineup in Maxi Macros in a few weeks from now. Man, this lineup is loaded! I will be patient seeing it altogether - Maxi-Macros!

DP, can you give me some background on Martian Manhunter and or Batman Beyond in relation to ToJ continuity, and if they're available?

Any other details you can provide would be great. I was thinking the couple who were from Thanagar but also reincarnations of Egyptian lovers. I guess that's more post-Crisis. Let's go w/Golden Age, since the Egyptian background is more important that the extra-terrestrial. Cheyenne Hall wanted to take up the heroic mantle of her parents after their retirement. She took the name Nephthys, after the Egyptian goddess called the Lady of Heaven, who was often depicted with falcon wings. Interested in ancient Egyptian mysticism, she asked to study under Doctor Fate, but he determined that she had no real magical skill. He did give her a couple of mystic artifacts to help her in her career. Fate attuned her to a pocket dimension, which she calls her Shadow Cabinet, where she keeps her costume and wings (which can be summoned separately) as well as a variety of ancient weapons (a mace, spiked glove, some swords, and maybe a couple of Thanagarian blasters). He also gave her the Eye of Horus, a small metal framework which fits over one eye, and with which she can discern the history of any inanimate object. (This takes time; the further back she wants to see, the longer. This is not something she can do in combat, but is helpful when it comes to exposition...I mean research.) Cheyenne stands just over six feet, and has a fairly muscular build. She is a powerful and experienced fighter (she has been known to get into a bar fight or two). She is more interested in history than current events, and sees herself more as a warrior fighting to protect the world than a crime-fighter. I'm thinking a white and gold costume, or maybe white and brown w/gold highlights. No bare midriff or boob window. That ain't her style.

Let's go with the Egyptian version as I will have her be based on Earth 2 with the other JSA legacies that are part of this group. I'll send you my design for her once it's completed.
