I like this theme... And I've discovered that 1990-2003 was not a decade much in in the mood for nostalgia, unlike the decades preceding and following. But Dave Steven's was good for it in 1997...  |

Man this is a tough topic! As mentioned, this is not an area where I personally am familiar...anything since 1993 is generally too new for me still. But I scoured hard...not sure this fits by some people's standards but to me it has a retro feel (a la the artwork and the usage of the names down the side in a classic comic format)

I like this theme...  Hate to be that guy, but this cover doesn't fit within the year range for this contest, 1990-2003. I do like it, though, and it certainly does have a '70s blaxploitation poster feel. |

Hate to be that guy, but this cover doesn't fit within the year range for this contest, 1990-2003. I do like it, though, and it certainly does have a '70s blaxploitation poster feel. No...thanks indeed for being that guy. I got too excited about this theme and didn't pay attention to the date. I am sure I can come up with another in the proper period. I'm not that big of a one either. But Posehn and Duggan do an excellent job on this series. They have a lot of fun with the character.
