Those are all from the Hulk ! magazine of the late 70's. They're not in continuity, and unfortunately get overlooked because of that fact. I've always liked them, and yes, think they look fantastic. Always thought Marvel was pretty smart putting out the magazines to get the more adult casual reader. Really surprised it didn't do better or we'd still be seeing it, I would think. Steve Oliff is one of the best colorists in the business. Unfortunately I don't see any work he's done since 2010's Image United. |

Totally agree with you about Big John inking himself.
The Tarzan piece you included in your reply is absolutely stunning.
I'm sure the Burroughs estate was not disappointed with it at all.
