I loved this splash page form Avengers 162 as a kid. It has pencil grooves worn into the page because I would use tracing paper to try to recreate it all the time...  -M I love the last page of 161 With Cap's foot dangling over the side. One of the rare times I saw the Avengers truly having their asses kicked. |

Night Nurse I see Romita signed the original work, probably due to his obvious face touchbups to the Mortimer pencils. For all a reader knew, those two characters could be Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson, from the way the finished art comes off. |

Considering how the main figure looks pasted on on the original, i'd say it is more romita than Mortimer. |
