There are some truly fun grade z horror schlock films out there. I discovered two personal favorites myself by scouring amazon prime's free streaming section: "The Blood of Dracula's Castle" with John Carradine, and "Terror at the Wax Museum" with John Carradine and Elsa Lanchester.

I've watched each Hammer Dracula film at least four times. Such a great series! I still need to finish Hammer Frankenstein and then start on the Mummy films.

Not sure which Frankenstein films you haven't yet seen, but I only just watched The Horror of Frankenstein and Monster from Hell for the first time this year.  Can't say that I thought much of David Prowse's creature in either films (or "either of David Prowse's creatures in either films" since they are different monsters) but I don't think you're really watching the Frankenstein pictures for the monster anyway but for Peter Cushing who never turns in anything less than the best acting job you'll ever see. 

There are all sorts of nice little touches throughout Monster From Hell which I wouldn't describe as subtle but are so well balanced throughout the film that I think you have to appreciate the artistry by which they're handled - the film almost seems to suggest that the asylum is Hell and that everyone present is there to have their souls weighed.  Frankenstein has already forfeited his and his apprentice is on the verge of losing his.

Horror of Frankenstein doesn't have Cushing, of course, but I picked it up since I had just watched Ralph Bates in Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde, thought he was great, and gave it a shot.  Really glad I did.  It's been summarized as a satire of Curse of Frankenstein which I think is too simple a description, but it's not entirely unwarranted either.  Bates deserved a better career and I wish he had gotten to star in Taste the Blood of Dracula instead of bringing Lee's Inspector Clouseau-esque vampire back yet again.  Anyone qatching this back to back with Sister Hyde will likely feel the same - he's great at the charming, brilliant sociopath type of role that I think makes films such as these so enjoyable.  Anyhoo, there are bits of humour in Horror of Frankenstein (ie. Frankenstein sends enough current through a disembodied arm to get it to make an obscene salute; he attempts to shake his creature's hand when it comes to life) but I still consider it a straight horror and not the horror-comedy some critics define it as.  

I just re-watched Evil of Frankenstein last week.  Bit of a misfire and probably my least favorite in the series.  I hadn't realized until a few days ago that the hypnotist Frankenstein uses to control the monster is also the landlord in the Amicus Cushing feature The Skull (well, the actor's the same).

Think I'd have to rate the Hammer Frankenstein's as follows:

Curse of Frankenstein
Revenge of Frankenstein
Frankenstein Must be Destroyed (I might have ranked this higher than Revenge if it weren't for that awful obviously added on at the last second rape scene which throws the whole picture off)
