Diablo only appears in Gilded Lily's flashback origin story, and never encounters Sasquatch and Aurora. Holy crap, is that Ditko? No, this is what Ditko's Alpha Flight looks like:

I was never a fan of Ditko. Even his legendary Spider-man run , wasn't great to my eyes.

Sorry, this was just a reprint of FF #101. No Tigra or others in the issue.

Another victim of dreaded deadline doom, this issue contained a reprint of Doc's origin (not the original Lee/Ditko, but a later retelling):

Sorry, this was just a reprint of FF #101. No Tigra or others in the issue. In that case, does this cover fit some other story that was published in a different FF issue? It seems so specific, It makes you think it had to be based on an actual story, even if it never was printed.

Not at all. Issue #101 is a story featuring the original 4 and Crystal and it's about the Baxter building being invaded. This cover has the characters that were in the previous couple of books. It looks like the cover was produced and then the Dreaded Deadline Doom occurred.

A cool cover that supports Superdickory, but it never happens inside the book. What happens is that a gas is released making people afraid of water and Superman has to contain the crisis.

Sorry, this was just a reprint of FF #101. No Tigra or others in the issue. I will always be mad about this cover. Always. Doesn't it just cry out to have the story behind it told? The Impossible Man, for example: what's going on with his little gesture and the annoyed expression on his face? It just struck me - would this have been one of the first gender-equal (in terms of numbers) superhero teams, temporary though it was?

Daredevil 132. Bullseye is shot out of cannon towards DD on cover but inside the circus' human cannonball actually fires towards DD.
