Just finished the Vision.
I think it's the best multi-issue story that Marvel (not counting Epic) has ever published.

For anyone who missed Mister Miracle #1, there will be a 2nd printing out September 13th, the same day as #2 comes out.

I have only read King's Batman run so not familiar with his other work. I read Batman 1 thru 25 and was not impressed at all. I loved Snyder's Batman run and have all of the hardcovers. I wanted to love King's Batman and kept reading hoping it would get better, but I forced myself to get through the 1st 25 issues. Is the story with the Joker and Riddler any good??

I wanted to love King's Batman and kept reading hoping it would get better, but I forced myself to get through the 1st 25 issues. Is the story with the Joker and Riddler any good?? I'm virtually the exact opposite. I've loved King's Batman from the outset but, despite liking The Court of Owls storyline and really wanting to like the rest of Snyder's run, I couldn't bring myself to read beyond the first part of Zero Year. I'm really liking what he is doing with Metal though.
I'm liking The War of Jokes and Riddles so far. It takes place about a year into Batman's career, and he is recounting the events to Selina because it involves a yet-to-be-revealed choice he made, that he regrets. I've seen some people complain there's not enough action in the arc. I guess, maybe, they were expecting/hoping for an eight issue long fight scene between the two factions of villains. We're a few issues in and, so far, we've seen an incredibly violent start to the "war", a heartbreaking Kiteman story, an epic battle between Deadshot and Deathstroke, a funny past encounter between Batman and Catwoman, a very strange dinner party, and plenty of actual jokes and riddles. If the second half of the story is as good as the first, I won't be disappointed.
