Speaking of cute snakes this one's name is Waffle and his owner calls him a sausage noodle. His owner has a bunch of videos of him on her youtube channel.

I watched a documentary on Animal Planet awhile ago called Toucan Nation about a toucan that was found with its beak mutilated and was nursed back to health. Eventually they would build it a prosthetic beak using 3D printers so that it could feed itself. It was pretty interesting despite how tragicly the animal had been treated and it at least has a heartfelt and inspiring ending.

I wouldn't say I am inspired by animals or insects, but ones that I really like include Boston terriers-had one for 14 years German shepherds butterflies At my old house at night, I would watch a family of rabbits. It must have been the mother and father rabbit with babies hidden nearby. They only came out at night. My new house has a fenced in area and so far I haven't seen any animals other than a spider and its very impressive web. Also enjoy watching cardinals. When my mother was alive, she had a hummingbird that would hang out on the porch--very fun to watch it!

When my mother was alive, she had a hummingbird that would hang out on the porch--very fun to watch it! When, I was a kid my mother and I did the same thing we watch the hummingbird by the big old dogwood tree and we were curious about why it's spent so much time we .... discovered that there were another hummingbird and they were building a nest there and we were entertained by that and later on little hummingbirds came out and they fed them until they learned to fly ... it's happen everyday from 6:30 in the morning and we enjoyed it ... when the last one learned to fly, the nest and our entertainment was gone!

From February of this year, I have been following two webcams of albatross chicks: one is a Laysan albatross on Kauai, Hawaii, which was named Kalama and fledged about a month ago; the other is a Northern royal albatross near Dunedin, NZ, which has recently been named Tumanako and will soon fledge as well. It's been really awesome to see these two birds grow up, even though their environments are relatively close to human settlements, and they are very closely monitored by researchers.

That is wonderful Jesse. And it's infuriating to think that anyone would be capable of such cruelty.
