For the Record
I'm in the position of my life of which I feel that Comic Books especially now days are pretty much meaningless and I don't have a pull-list anymore. My focus these days is centering on DC Archives and Marvel Masterworks that I've believe the Golden Age of Comics is my focal point of all this. Right now, I'm going to complete my Tintin by Herge by next year getting as much of those illustrated novels that I can.
I appreciate
Confessor reviews and that's why I like these books so much.
I'm taking a weekend off Saturday to Monday going to a cabin south of Puyallup Washington with friends and my girlfriend is coming with me; then taking a week vacation starting Wednesday to Wednesday going to Lake Louise in Canada for some sightseeing and some short hiking trips and among other things as well. Then, after that ... I will be helping my Brother moving to his new home for the rest of August and hopefully have it done by Labor Day.
I was considering cancelling my account here on Labor Day and after awhile ... I mulled on this because I don't care about the Silver and Bronze Age of Comics and the Modern Era of Comics after 2000 and anything after that date ... I have no desires to deal with it anymore and that's why I dropped all titles from Dynamite Entertainment and elsewhere.
My Interest in DC Comics and Marvel Comics is meaningless and that's was the big reason for canceling my account here because I have really have no interest in contributing to it. I'm talking about today DC and Marvel Comics. My interest here is in the past the Golden Age of Comics and that's why I don't care about the silliness of the Silver Age and the Bronze Age of which I don't have a clue of it today.
Regarding my Batman Thread ... I will jump on it right around the 1st part of October and that's will be my focal point from now on right now I have covered 40 out of 120 shows and when I do come back my goal is to get it done by next March and that's will be my last Televised Review of a Television Show.
Right now, I'm thinking of starting up a Golden Age of Comics Review very similar to my 50 Greatest ... but this one will be totally different and thinking of tackling it in 2018. It will be different and that's will be my final review for Classic Comics Forum and I've vowed not to do another review again.
With my marriage next year and we moved our Marriage Date after Labor Day of 2018 and because of that review thread ... I will be probably update it once a week and that's what my plans are.
Then, when 2019 rolls around that when I will be hitting 60 years of age and with my Water Polo League and I belong to two teams, with my Marriage, and spending more time with them and taking more vacations ... my time here will be vastly limited here and thinking of cancelling it altogether sometimes in 2019 and I don't know what the future beholds but my days are numbered and might leave anytime in 2019.
My Goals here in CCF1) To finish my
Batman Thread in 2018
2) To do a
Golden Age Thread in 2018 and have it done in 2019.
Those two things that I want to be done and once they are done ... I'm ready to leave CCF for good; because my immediate family and friends are more important to me and I have a club to run also that takes a lot of my time away from CCF.
I will be back on next
Tuesday to check on this thread for any comments that you guys asked me about and then off to my Vacation in the Woods in Canada surrounding the beautiful Lake Louise for one week. Looking forward to it.
That's my plans for the Future.
