Wow, it's been a while since I updated this thread. Here's something new: IMG_3927 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr The Kingpin has always been one of my favorite Marvel villains. I'm excited to see how the rumored Hasbro version will turn out, but I thought he would be a fun figure to make myself. IMG_3928 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr The base is a Mezco Mutant Leader, with ML Nuke shoes and a Classic TV Toys suit. His head is a repainted Mutant Leader, and his walking stick is from DST Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde. The Mutant Leader's 4 swappable hands have all been repainted as well. I didn't know if the Mutant Leader body would be bulky enough, but with 3 layers of cloth it works fine. IMG_3929 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr I wasn't sure about it at first, but now I really like the furious expression on his face. This figure is a lot of fun to pose. IMG_3930 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr He gets a kick out of being the Kingpin! IMG_3931 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr IMG_3932 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr IMG_3933 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr

IMG_4060 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr This is based on Batman's all-black costume from the 1990s. This figure started off as a Year One Batman with a different suit and head. That didn't work out, so I swapped the Year One suit for a black one and decided to make this costume. IMG_4061 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr The base figure is a Mezco Dredd, with the suit reversed. The head is from a Batman the Animated Series figure, the gloves are from a Toybiz Marvel Legend (with fins from the BTAS figure), and the boots are from DCC Zero Year Batman. The belt is some craft elastic with pouches from the zero year Batman. I made the cape out of some black cloth. I just printed out the chest symbol, put a layer of tape on either side, and glued it on. IMG_4062 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr This wasn't really a version of Batman I wanted as a figure, but I really like how it turned out. Work in progress on the Justice League Flying Fox vehicle: For some reason there was a ridiculous "action feature" tower in the inside of the vehicle. So I had to cut that out. Got a bit burned out on customs for a while, but yesterday I started a new one. Lord Baltimore: IMG_4507 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr Quite a bit of work left to do. Once this guy is done I'd like to make Haigus too.

Some progress on Baltimore: IMG_4519 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr Should have an overcoat for him in the next few days. The artificial leg isn't attached yet (I'm waiting on some supplies for that too), but I know how I'm going to do it. Here's all of his gear so far (some of this is custom-made and some isn't): IMG_4520 by LOBSTER20000, on Flickr I'm really happy with how the harpoon turned out.

Awesome stuff! Do you make custom figures for people? Thanks! I don't make custom figures for people, because I don't feel that I'm skilled enough. I'm just now getting the hang of painting heads, and I have yet to learn to sculpt. Some folks who commission custom figures are on a whole other level compared to me.
