I need to know: How do you tape shut your comic bags? Personally, I'm a single, horizontal piece right in the center. It's a more efficient use of tape and it's less clumsy when taking comics in and out of the bags. Barbaric.

One piece, vertical. Though if I buy a booked bagged differently I rarely change it unless it's cheap ass non-Scotch Magic tape.
Also I love that last option. :-)

I don't use tape at all, and unless the book has a bag when I buy it I don't usually bag either. I have filing cabinets and just put them in manila folders and it works out just fine.

One piece, vertical, centered.
Always have done it this way, always will.

I raise a pinky at all of you with my resealable bags
Maybe 20% of my collection is in resealables, but otherwise I use one strip horizontally in the center.

No tape. I just fold the flap inside the bag.

If I am adding tape and not using a bag with tape already on it, one piece in the center at about a 45 degree angle, slightly more vertical than horizontal, but not much. It makes it easier to fold the tape down when I want to take a book out of the bag to read or check something without losing the end of the tape so I can pull that end of the tape off the flap again after I have put the book back in. Folding the tape down like that reduces chances of the tape catching the book when I want to put it in or out of the bag. But then I usually put 2 books per bag, one on each side of the board too to save on space (less boards=less space taken up so more can fit in the short box or basket I have them in) and the cost of boards/bags.

Barbaric. Ha! I guess I'm a barbarian then! The above picture could be a comic from my collection (even down to the use of magic tape, rather than Sellotape). I guess I like to live dangerously.

I feel secure Was it a mistake with Adhesive X that led to the creation of Pillowhead? -M You know, I was just thinking of Pillowhead this weekend. I really need to get that story told especially since it's all true and someone might beat me to it. Once I start I'll have to see it through to it's completion. It won't be an easy tale to tell, it will take it's toll on the teller. But I've pussyfooted around the Pillowhead Saga for much too long. Meanwhile, here's the theme-song
