Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 18th, received on the 20th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: Well, just the first one. The others are from Comicana, including the difficult #569, which I bought from them for £55 even before it went online. Graded NM- but probably better.
Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 14th, received on the 16th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: I only wanted the one by Smallwood, the others have stunning art from Immonem, but Slott is Slott, not his worst version AFAIR but still, we'll see. Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 14th, received on the 16th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: Just #2, the other Death issues are from Comicana, the USM is from the vendor below. It finishes the Death of Spider-Man storyline at a better price than at, say, mycomicshop (once postage and customs are factored in). I know it must be in some dollar bin, somewhere in a galaxy far, far away.
Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 15th, received on the 19th via Royal Mail 2nd Class? (to UK address). UK eBay seller. Bought on the 14th, shipped on the 15th, received on the 18th via Royal Mail 2nd Class (to UK address). UK eBay seller: I received the second one a couple of weeks ago. Also have the Ellis' issues in HC and floppies. Bought on the 20th, shipped on the 27th! (heat wave), received on the 2nd!! via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed + Correos. Comicana (17th order): They previously had three of these, but not being interesting enough, I waited until I could get them all four in one go.

Kickstarter fulfillment for the Jeff Lemire/Matt Kindt/David Rubin Cosmic Detective OGN arrived today long wait but looks to be worth it. I've had the digital copy for a while now, but waited for the physical copy to dive in. -M

Just the opposite of what I do. I read the digital copies and only glance (smell) the hard ones.

Bought on the 12th, shipped on the 16th, received on the 25th via Royal Mail Tracked & Signed + Correos. Comicana (18th order): I have the Ellis' TPB, but I don't like how they placed the covers at the end with no separation between issues. The first mini isn't that great, but that makes a consecutive run (1-15).

I just bought 8 Billion Genies 1-4 3rd printing. I’ve read the first 2 issues of an 8 issue series and I can say is if they remain this good, it maybe the best series of the year. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Said and done. I went to my LCS and made my first purchase there after four years living here. They had the whole series, but the other six volumes were damaged, so I asked them to order new copies. More next week.

I bought these three past week. They had all remaining six at my LCS, but half of those were damaged, so I only took these ones. I'll try my luck with the rest at Amazon (I know, not the best place for that).

Bought on the 21st, sent on the 22nd, received on the 26th via Correos. Amazon (ES): With their post-sales service having gone down the drain, this is my last Amazon order. I basically ever used it for buying comics, and despite their track record regarding grades (new doesn't mean NM) I always was able to sort it out by one of the 3 methods they used: refund, discount or replacement. It turns out they only offer refund now, and with restrictions (no house pick-up, only one carrier, one week delay on the actual refund...).

This past weekend one of the shops here in town had a signing of Minor Threats. The wonderful Patton Oswalt, along with MODOK show runner and co-writer Jordan Blum & artist Scott Hepburn were signing. I usually don't get new books but c'mon...it's Patton freaking Oswalt! He was so nice and happy to see fans come out. Not only did he sign Minor Threats but people were bringing Disney, Sandman and other goodies to sign as well. I brought him a couple of other comics he did and signed those as well.

<<(( Cue 2001: A Space Odyssey music)))>> Got this in the post today -- came out last week. I haven't looked inside yet, but I believe there's some new material from Neil Gaiman and Mark Buckingham, that sets up their return in the long, long awaited Miracleman: The Silver Age, which begins next month. Can't wait to dig into this. Doubly so for the new on-going that debuts next month. Kimota!

My Comic Shop had Miracle Man Silver Age on my pull list since 2016. Early this year, I told them to remove it, because there was no way it was ever going to come out.
In other words: you're welcome, everybody.
(Also Confessor: next month is actually next week: 19 October is #1 set to be on sale)

As for the new series. Seeing is believing, and I'm yet to see it.
