Looking forward to tomorrow's selection and wondering when the box of army soldiers, Schwinn bike, and Red Ryder gun are going to figure in Oh, and, technically...Twinkies Don't forget to eat your Hostess Fruit Pies while practicing your Kung Fu training or body building training!!! Only food advertised in my comics era was Fleer Dubble Bubble. And Cloverine Brand Salve.

Last minute verification...just making sure I'm seeing and posting this correctly: Now we are posting comic adaptations from TV and film, correct? So do we post the story line or issue of the adaptation. Example, I choose Superman V Batman (Just bear with me folks). I then post the issues for Dark Knight Returns? Is this how I'm supposed to be reading this?

I think you've got it backwards, DubipR - it's TV/films based on comics.

Rob is right, Dubip. It's movies and TV shows based on comics, not comics adapting movies and TV shows (although that DOES sound like a great topic for a future TDCCC).
Cei-U! I summon the switcheroo!

In the case of movies, can we pick more than one movie as a single choice? So, like...could I pick Sin City and Sin City 2 as one choice or should I have them as two separate entries and rank them individually, if I think of them both highly enough?

Well, I'm citing the entire Fleisher Superman series rather than a specific cartoon so, yeah, either way works just fine.

Welp I started with about 150 options in my initial brainstorm of movie and tv adaptations of comics I liked to consider, and have managed to whittle it down to about 25-30 serious contenders...might have to do some re-watching to make some final decisions.

In many cases, that would be fine. However there is no justification for including Sin City 2. I would equate liking that film with liking Sins Past.

I'm drawing a lot of blanks when it comes to Tv shows. I'm not really a fan of the DC WB shows.

I'm lumping Sam Rami's Spider-man 1 and 2 together because they tell one continuing narrative and are of a similar caliber and style.

I'm drawing a lot of blanks when it comes to Tv shows. I'm not really a fan of the DC WB shows. Going back before WB.. besides some of the (mostly rather campy) things people posted eariler) (not necessarily on my list, just brainstorming for you): Flash from the 80s Lou Ferrigno Hulk Adventures of Lois and Clark Smallville Adam West Batman Lynda Carter Wonder Woman Older Superman series (George Reeves, Superboy, maybe one other?) Then there's the current Marvel: Agents of SHIELD Agent Carter Daredevil Alias Luke Cage For Cartoons that no one has mentioned, you have: 90s Marvel (X-Men, Spiderman FF, Iron Man) 60s Spidey Spidey and is amazing Friends 60s FF TMNT (3 versions) Hellboy Bruce Timmverse DC Various later Batman shows (The Batman, Batman Strikes, Brave and the Bold) Batman Beyond Superboy and the Legion Teen Titans (serious version) Teen Titans Go Young Justice Spawn Wildcats Duck Tales (not sure any other Disney counts, but Cei-U specifically said Uncle Scrooge does) That's just quick off the top of my head at lunch.. should give you a good starting point.
